Whether you are an individual contributor, a team manager, entrepreneur or executive, these tools and techniques will help you avoid failed communications. Both verbal and written communications will be covered. If you find yourself talking one to one or in groups, you will learn how to master these situations and get your point across.
Communications technology has seen more advancement than many other fields. Tremendous progress has been made which allows us to communicate over vast distances through satellites, and to be informed of events happening across the world as they happen.
WHAT IS IT THAT WITH ALL THESE ADVANCES, ONE OF BIGGEST Challenges STILL EXISTING TODAY IS “COMMUNICATION" ?
This One Day workshop will help you to become a more effective communicator through interacting and communicating more purposeful and result focused. Communication is generally a two way process and consists of sending and receiving. You will get a good understanding of typical (but avoidable!) mistakes, and what to really focus on to create the outcome you desired. During the process you will attain a more precise self awareness, creating the basis to modify your actions and achieve what you need through your communication.
SOME OF THE CONCEPTS THAT WILL BE COVERED ARE :
The Three Elements of Communication that go wrong when they are not properly managed
How to avoid "cross communicating," a model for effective conversations
The Art of Active Listening that will keep you from being blindsided.
How and when to switch channels, using email when it works, face to face when it won't
The Power of Inquiry - Great Questions get Great Results
How to Lead a Meeting without Losing Control

Transaction Analysis For Communication
The Finesse Of Verbal And Non-verbal Communication
